ANTI-FRAUD SCREENING

Technical assessments and interviews that cannot be faked.

Examly delivers assessments monitored in real time. Every copy attempt, every tab switch and every extra display is recorded with a timestamp. You watch the candidate as they answer.

01TRY IT RIGHT HERE

This is not a video. Go ahead and cheat.

This block runs the exact same detectors that fire during a real assessment. Do any of these and watch it land in the integrity log.

Which of these structures guarantees constant-time access by key?

  • ALinked list
  • BHash table
  • CBinary search tree
  • DPriority queue

None of this is sent anywhere. It runs entirely in your browser, just so you can feel how it works.

System capture shortcuts (Cmd + Shift + 3/4 on macOS) are intercepted by the operating system before they reach the browser — no website can see them. PrintScreen, the print dialog and snipping tools are recorded, the last of these because they steal window focus.

02LIVE MONITORING

You see the same screen the candidate sees.

Not a screenshot and not an after-the-fact summary. It is the session in progress, with the candidate's cursor streamed every 80 milliseconds and the question order rebuilt exactly as they see it.

  • 01

The shuffled order is rebuilt from the attempt's own seed, so you see their screen and nobody else's.

  • 02

The cursor travels in relative coordinates, so it lands on the same spot even if your window is a different size.

  • 03

Correct answers still never leave the server — not even in the proctor's view.

03ANTI-CHEAT SYSTEM

Twenty ways to know what actually happened.

Everything without a label is running today. Anything marked as coming soon is still being built, and we say so plainly.

Live today

Tab switching

Every time the candidate leaves the assessment it is logged with a timestamp. You decide how many are tolerated before auto-submit.

Copy, paste and screenshots

Copy, paste, right-click, PrintScreen and Cmd+Shift+3/4/5 are blocked and recorded with a severity level.

Multiple displays

Extended screens are detected at the start and on any change to the display configuration.

Enforced fullscreen

Leaving fullscreen locks the assessment behind a modal until the candidate returns to it.

Atomic reconnect detection

Reopening the assessment in another window increments a counter inside Postgres. It cannot be dodged from the browser.

Server-authoritative timing

The clock lives on the server. Closing the tab does not pause it, and three separate safety nets close expired attempts.

A unique order per candidate

Questions and options are shuffled from a deterministic per-attempt seed, so orders cannot be compared between candidates.

Answer key never sent

The candidate's browser never receives the solution. Inspecting network traffic reveals nothing.

Mirror-live monitoring

The same screen the candidate sees, with their cursor and active question in real time.

Integrity log

Every signal ordered by minute and coloured by severity, from a copy attempt to a display change.

Link or QR access

Candidates join without creating an account and without installing anything. You can also require sign-in.

Analytics and ranking

Score distribution, pass rate, time per question and a candidate leaderboard.

04HOW IT WORKS

From open role to decision, in four steps.

  1. 01

    Create the assessment

Set the questions, the time limit, the passing score and which integrity controls you require.

  2. 02
